Sopot pt. 2

Hello my dears!

Today, as promised, I would like to share some pics from Sopot. It's a gorgeous town at the Polish seaside, with a long wooden pier, tons of coffee shops and restaurants, and beautiful beaches. Unfortunately, it's also crazy popular with tourists so summer means crowds... Well, you can't have everything! ;-)

The beach...

Got a new camera and played a bit with the filters - this one is a "dramatic" one :-)

The pier...

The town...

Yes, this is Batman just walking around, not a bother...

For sale - tempting... :-)

A statue on one of the side streets - he's a fisherman walking on a line between two buildings; perhaps a comment on an unsteady life of a fisherman...

Must be one of the prettiest H&M shops I've ever seen :-)

"Helium - for talking"

These pics can give you only a taste of Sopot, there are more things to  see and explore. And if you come in September, it won't be so crowded but still warm. So go on, "carpe that fecking diem" and explore the world! ;-)

Sopot

Hello hello hello! :-)

Today's post is going to be all about Sopot. What is this "Sopot" you ask? Well, it's the absolutely amazing town at the Polish seaside where I went to for five glorious days. The weather was tropical and the cocktails delicious, it was great to have a few days of pure laziness and relaxation :-)

I stayed at Zatoka Sztuki hotel and it was fabulous. It's right at the beach and, since it's also a venue for concerts and generally for clubbing, it can get a bit loud sometimes - but that was what I needed for those few days so no complaints. Anyways, here are the pics:

Granola breakfast, mmmm...

Prawns with garlic, chilli and butter - heaven!

Best drink ever - Caipiroska

This is what I did most of the time - stayed at the beach :-)
Well, I miss the seaside and, mostly, the weather... In the next post, I'll show you some pics from Sopot itself. Til next time!

Warsaw!

Sooo... I've been a bad blogger... But I intend to post more regularly and generally to take care of my blog better :-) I've also been traveling quite a bit; actually I still am, I'm writing this post from a lovely hotel in Sopot at the Polish seaside. Anyways, today I would like to show you a few snapshots from Warsaw which I visited just for a couple of days.

Here we go:
The palm tree is not real and was an art project - and people love it! :-)

Main market square in the old town

And a few Insta shots :-)

Hope your weekend is shaping up nicely :-) I'm going back to Dublin tomorrow and I'm sad and happy at the same time - holidays finished but I will see my Paddy :-)))
